A superb collection of art from different ages. Paintings and art from artists like Van Gogh, The Cobra group, Expressionism, Mondriaan, Van Doesburg, Van der Leck en Rietveld can be found here. Currently the old museum building at the Paulus Potter straat is undergoing renovations and will be closed until 2008. The temporary museum is close to Amsterdam Central Station and because of that it will be known as 'Stedelijk Museum CS'. This also means that some art pieces might not be on display. The entire collection will be available again 2008.
